Shipping Protection



Shipping is mostly seamless, but occasionally things don't go to plan. Our optional Shipping Protection gives you added peace of mind, with straightforward resolutions if something goes wrong between us and your door.

What does Shipping Protection cover?

  • Loss, theft, or damage during transit
  • A simple, hassle-free process by lodging a claim
  • Replacement of affected items where stock is available, or your choice of store credit or refund where it isn't

To add Shipping Protection to your order, opt in at checkout. Once activated, this service is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Adrift reserves the right to update these terms or discontinue the service at any time.

This is an optional service and sits alongside your existing rights under Australian consumer law.

Shipping Protection is calculated as 2% of product value (excluding shipping and taxes). Please note it does not apply to gift cards or select items.

If your order hasn't arrived within the expected delivery window, reach out and we'll open an investigation with the carrier. Should the parcel be confirmed lost after 7 days, we'll replace any available items or issue store credit or a refund for anything out of stock.

If your parcel is confirmed as delivered to an incorrect address and cannot be recovered, we'll treat this the same as a lost parcel and work to make it right.

If your order arrives damaged, contact our team and we'll arrange a replacement once the item has been assessed. Where a replacement isn't available, we'll offer store credit or a refund.

If an incorrect shipping address was entered when placing your order and the parcel is delivered there, we're unable to recover, replace, or refund the order.

Once your order has been dispatched, the Shipping Protection fee is non-refundable.

We'll always do our best to assist, but without coverage we're unable to offer replacements or credits for lost or damaged orders.
