Please refer to individual garment measurements below to help you select the best size for you. Our individual garment measurements are reflective of the actual cm's of the garment itself! This allows you to compare your body measurements with the garments.

HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

    Well fitting dress

    This is the second Shari dress I purchased after I bought the short-sleeved Shari dress in the Salty Seas print last summer which I like too. So far the Shari is my favourite Adrift long dress shape. Flowing viscose fabric that is lovely to wear with deep lively colours just like in the pictures.

    I bought my usual Adrift size. Fit is great: the comfortable elastic sits on a high waist under the bust. There is the right amount of fabric for me covering the bust. As the gathered layers only start at the hip, I find the dress is elongating, creates a shape and does not swamp me at my 164 cm height. The dress finishes 8 cm above ankle, and I don't have to shorten it. The very useful invisible button secures the cross-over at V-neck at the bust safely. The elastic in the bottom of the sleeves is not too tight and can be pushed back to create a 3/4 sleeve. I might alter the sleeve to make it into a short sleeve or elbow length sleeve, but that is only a thought. The sale price was a bonus.
