The Tia Linen Tunic Dress in Slate offers modern refinement with a kimono-inspired neckline, and side hem splits for ease and movement. Thoughtful embroidery at the neckline and cuffs elevates the minimalist design.

This style is narrower than typical Adrift dresses. We recommend measuring your hip and ensuring there is ample space for movement in the skirt (i.e. ensure the hip measurement of the dress is larger than your actual hips).

All of my Adrift purchases I LOVE! This was my first disappointment. Lovely dress...was saving it to wear away at a special occasion. Bought the same size I always buy in Adrift dresses...but this one was is a much narrower cut so doesn't fit across hips.
If you buy it, size up. So if you're a 4XL I'd recommend you skip this one.

You’re absolutely right, the Slate Tia is cut slimmer through the hips compared to some of our other silhouettes. We’ve seen feedback like yours come through, and because of that we’ve updated the Tia’s fit in our newer releases to allow more room through the hips for a more comfortable, consistent fit.
We completely understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when you were saving it for a special occasion.

I have worn this dress twice to lunch and each time I feel like I am a fashionista as I waft myself down the street. It’s a super comfortable dress that simply falls. There is not much shape to it but that is its strength. (I probably should have downsized to a “Large” as it is very roomy on me (I am size 16, for comfort) but it is still great.
The pattern is a statement in itself. I bought both designs in this A line cut: the blue tropical as well as the pink cactus dress. They are both stunning, unique and easy wear.

Love the linen weight which is a little heavier than other linen adrift items I have. Pattern on dress is beautiful and I was happy to see it on Nat first!bought my usual size 2xl for an 18 equivelent.
