HOW TO MEASURE

When measuring yourself, if possible, do so in front of a mirror to ensure the most accurate measurements. Use these measurements as a guide and add extra allowance based on your preferred fit.

BUST - Measure around your chest, at the fullest part of your bra. Ensure the tape measure is even and horizontal across your shoulder blades.

WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your waist, this is usually a centimetre or so above your belly button. Wrap the tape measure around, ensuring it's comfortable but not loose.

HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your bottom or top of thighs, whichever is the widest. Make sure the tape measure is close to your body, but don’t pull too tight.

PANT LENGTH - Our pant length measurement is taken from the top of the outer side seam down to the hem, including the waistband.

Notes from Our Designers

We designed the Cairo with a high empire waist seam and a generously gathered skirt to give the body real room to move. The front and back yoke grounds the silhouette and gives structure without any restriction, while the billowing three quarter sleeves add a relaxed, considered feel. The lace up tie at the neckline lets you adjust the plunge to your own comfort level, which we think is important for a neckline this open.

Made in 100% cotton, this dress breathes well and softens beautifully with each wash, making it one of those pieces that genuinely gets better over time. The bodice and skirt are fully lined so there is no need to think about what you wear underneath, and the deep pockets mean you can actually use it as a proper everyday dress. The block printed paisley in blue and white is a print that has proven itself with our customers again and again, and the contrast between the printed sleeve fabric against the white yoke and skirt is what makes the Cairo feel so distinct.
